Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Journi. platform ("Service"), operated by iAppLabs ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
2. Description of Service
Journi. is a platform for founders, builders, and teams to track and share their startup journey through milestones, timelines, and public changelogs. The Service provides features including project timelines, milestone tracking, embeddable widgets, analytics, and community discovery tools.
3. Account Registration & Responsibilities
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the Service. You agree to notify us immediately at support@iapplabs.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Content & Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or publish through the Service ("User Content"), including project descriptions, milestones, updates, and media. By making User Content available on Journi., you grant iAppLabs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your User Content solely in connection with the operation of the Service. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all User Content you submit.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose; (b) post content that promotes violence, discrimination, or illegal activities; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or systems; (d) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; (e) scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service using automated means without prior written consent; (f) upload or distribute malware or malicious code; (g) use the Service to send unsolicited communications or spam; (h) impersonate any person or entity.
6. API & Widget Usage
Journi. provides embeddable widgets and API access for displaying your timeline data on external websites. API keys are issued per account and must not be shared publicly. You are responsible for securing your API keys. Excessive or abusive API usage may result in rate limiting or access revocation. We reserve the right to modify API functionality with reasonable notice.
7. Payments & Subscriptions
Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial refunds will be issued for unused time. iAppLabs reserves the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' written notice.
8. Termination
iAppLabs may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IAPPLABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
